On the way home today from up north, we detoured through the Cities and stopped at Don Pablos for lunch. Mmmmm....guacamole

Day 89 {Not Me}

This picture doesn't even look like me. I took it right after the parade today on the side of the deli building in town.

It was hilarous, my little sister and her friend were coming out of the deli, and I started to talk to them, and they both jumped and screamed. I didn't even try to scare them!

Day 88 {Mascara}

Putting make up on this morninn before work.

I'v found that if I wear clear mascara that it doesn't make my eyes itch and water. That's a very good thing.

Who knew that we made such goofy faces while putting on makeup.

Day 87 {Frizzy}

How come no matter what I do my hair is always frizzy? It annoys me to no end. I swear I have tried just about every product out there.

I also dug in my closet today and found a nice spring colored shirt to wear. I love spring colors.

Day 85 {Wrapped}

For the first time in my 25 years I have to wear an ace bandage.

I have been diagnosed with tendonitis. Basically from doing repetitive motions such as up and down motions with my hands.

I am supposed to do rest, ice, and compress it. I am to severely limit any repetitive motions such as typing, video games, cutting, scrapbooking, chopping, etc. Basically everything I do.

At least my to-be read pile of books will get some attention.

Sitting on the couch today reading my book. I love reading. I have a HUGE stack of books in my to be read pile.

Day 83 {Cleaning}

First, I have to say this is an *awful* picture of my butt.

I was in the bathroom cleaning, and asked my husband to bring me the vinegar & water (I use it to clean the waterspots off of the faucet) and he came in and put it in my back pocket just like that. What a goon.

Spent the day cleaning today. The house looks GREAT!

Day 82 {Hair}

I hate my naturally curly hair. I wish I had stick straight hair.

Just tossed my hair up in a clip today and basically said screw it. I'm tired of dealing with it and all of the numerous hair products I have tried to make my hair be non-frizzy.

Day 81 {Skirt}

This is one of my favorites skirts. It's black & white and it's fun. The only downside is that it's too short to wear out. I love wearing it around the house though, it's so comfy.

For my birthday in January, my little sisters gave me these BRIGHT pink shoes! Aren't they fun? I love them. I've been wearing them all the time around the house while all this remodeling is going on.

These are lyrics from Kid Rock's song, "Roll On." This is becoming one of my top played songs on itunes. I'm honestly not sure if it's being played on radios as I mainly listen to country music radio stations, but I love this song.

To me, this song helps me put things into perspective. Life is a roller coaster with it's up and downs. We gotta keep riding the ride, and moving forward with our lives. We are on borrowed time and never know when it might end.

LOVE this song. Go listen to it.

Alone

Tonight I feel all alone. I've actually been feeling alone for a while now. It doesn't matter if I'm around people or not, I just feel all alone.

I'm afraid that I am slipping into a depression again. With all of the remodeling going on (see pictures here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/gamerbabe360/sets/72157604105165953/) I'm trying to get through it with humor and I am excited about the finished product, but I do know I have been stressing a bit about it. All I want right now is a shower and shaved legs.

I've felt myself starting to slip again for a while now, and have been hanging on, but I feel myself starting to slip. I don't know what to do.

Part of this translates over to me wanting to lose weight and be healthy. I have been eating everything in sight, and then feeling guilty about it. I've been meaning to start it up again, and did for about a week and a half, but that was it.

I hate feeling all alone. Yet, despite not wanting to feel all alone, I can feel myself pushing everyone away.

I hope I can pull myself out of this soon.

My house is filled with this nice, white, fine dust. Not all of it is due to lack of cleaning, but the unplanned remodel of the bathroom. I will be *so* happy when it's done and I can clean this mess up.

Day 67 {Letting my hair down}

Freckles have been part of me as long as I can remember. I used to have them sprinkled across my nose and cheeks, but those have disappeared over the years.

Now I have them all over my shoulders and arms. They are fairly faint right now due to winter, but in the summer they will be much more prominent.

I worked today from 8-1 and haven't done much since coming home. I'm not feeling the best and took a nap and then relaxed and wasted the evening online. What an exciting life I live.

Whenever I scrapbook or do anything crafty I make a mess. This time it was inking. Sometimes I feel like a little kid because no matter how hard I try to stay clean it just doesn't happen.

Day 63 {Eatin' Chicks}

Every Easter we buy the Chicks, Ducks, and Bunnies Sweetart candies. They are my favorites. I eat the pink ones first, then the blue ones, and leave the purple ones in the bag for Jason. I hate fake grape flavored stuff.

This is how I often sit on long car rides in the car. No matter how I sit in the car, I always slip my shoes off. Have I mentioned before that I hate shoes?

Day 61 {Cake}

Frosting the "Better than sex cake" I made today. Someone on the SDMB mentioned it and I had to call Ma and ask her for the recipe. Believe it or not my memory was pretty accurate. Jason informed that I had never made it before, that means it has been over 5 years since I've made it. He can't wait to try it.

Mmmmmm cake.

Best Therapy

In my opinion the beset therapy *EVER* is scrapbooking, being creative with your music *CRANKED* up as loud as you can. Singing along with the songs, just being creative.

I just got done spending almost 4 hours in my scrapbooking room. It was heaven. Though I only got 2 pages done, 6 pictures scrapped, but I love them.

Speaking of pictures and such, what I have been scrapbooking is my self-portraits. Would anyone be interested in seeing pictures of what I have done so far?

I'm in my happy place tonight.

This is I often sit at my desk at work. One foot up under me the other dangling down. Perfectly comfortable position.

Making hamburger buns for supper. Yes, I cheated and used the bread machine for the dough. You have to really flatten them out otherwise they turn out HUGE after you let them rise and bake.

My Version of the Clip It Up

This is my version of the Clip it up. My desk space is valuable, and I just don't have room for the clip it up. Plus I found it so expensive! I wanted a shelf in my scrapbook room anyway, and I added the long rod underneath the shelf and then the S type hooks for the product. Everything is from IKEA.

I really like the S hooks as I can add more than one item on there. I plan on going through more of my stuff and adding it on there. I can fit a bunch more on there! I didn't alter the hooks like many others have either.

The CD cases up on top of the shelf are my stamps. I have the ends of the cases labeled so I know what is in them.

I've been playing around in PSE some, and found a free B&W Action that I used on this picture. But of course, I wasn't done there. I did a convert to black & white, upped the intesity all the way and chose the more contrast option and LOVE the results. I think this is my favorite picture so far.
