Best gift ever!

While we were up north over the weekend, Ma gave us our Christmas gift so that it wouldn't freeze in December.

LOOK AT ALL THIS YUMMY GOODNESS!!!!

She gave us pears, (Jason's absolute favorite! I wish I could have got a picture of his face when he seen the pears!) Caramel Apple Butter, Apple Cider, Apple Juice, and Applesauce! I couldn't believe all that she gave us! The homecanned/homemade stuff is the best. I love Christmas gifts like these. They are the best ever! We will be eating good this winter.

Canning!

As you all know from a previous blog entry Ma taught me how to can and I loved it. I'm finally getting around to telling you all what we canned.

We canned:

• 11--1/2 pints of blueberry jam
• 7 pints of blueperry jam
• 13 pints of strawberry jam
• 1--1/2 pint of strawberry jam
• 10 pints of peach jam
• 3--1/2 pints of peach jam
• 13 pints of chicken

Obviously all we canned wasn't in the picture!

Day 217 {Canning!}

Day 217

Spent the day canning jam and chicken with Ma!! SO MUCH FUN! I loved learning how to can and now I can do it by myself here at home!
