Song mix up

I don't know what made me think of this today, but this is one of those things that I have to blog so I don't forget about it. :)

The Scene:  Mama Jenny's Kitchen.
Who:  Mama Jenny, Justin (her son), Jessi, and I.  (I think Megan or Mandi were there too...they are Mama Jenny's daughters.)
The story:
Mama Jenny: Do you know this song?  She starts singing, "Sweet Cherry Pie bom, bom bom"
*Jessi, Justin and I all look at each other a bit puzzled, then it dawns on us.*
Jessi:  I think it's "Sweet Caronline."
*Cue hysterical laughter from all of us, and going on a long time.*

For your listening pleasure:
Sweet Caroline:
Sweet Cherry Pie:

Now whenever I hear one of these songs, I get a chuckle. :) Makes my day. :)

33/365 02-02-2009 {Painting RSC}

Working on painting RSC. The walls are an awesome green and the doors are pink in the back room. LOVING that color combo!

If you want to see more pics, I added more to the set here!

Bellywings Loose in the Cities!

Ok, only a couple of my readers will get the title and I'm debating whether or not to explain the meaning.  I guess I will.  I bought a Quickutz Owl Die to use with my Quickutz Revolution and the feathers on the tummy Jessi called Bellywings.   Thus we call eachother Bellywings.    We went up to the cities on January 31 and I took a bunch of pictures.  I can't even think about posting them all here, so here is a link to that set on my flickr account.

Please take a peek at the pics.  Some are just hilarious!!!!   I had a blast and can't wait to go again with my bellywings!

For those of you who don't know Flickr, you can click on the small image in the link above and then can view a larger image and my description.
