Barefoot

Those of you that know me and have been reading my blog for a while know I HATE shoes and socks. I wish I could go barefoot all the time. I'm getting caught up on my magazines and see what I found in the August 2008 issues of Reader's Digest on page 22.

"Feet good. Shoes bad. Walking is something we've taken for granted since we were a year old, and it turns out we are doing it all wrong. In one study, barefoot Zulus and 2,000-year-old skeletons had healthier feet than their perpetually shod European counterparts. Shoes keep heels and soles from landing and stepping properly and keep toes from pushing off.

Everyone should go barefoot!
