Does anyone remember Pogs? I was reading a blog and they mentioned pogs and it brought back some childhood memories!
I don't even remember how old I was, but I think it was around 3rd or 4th grade or something like that. I collected them. The pogs and the slammers.
For those of you that don't know what pogs are, here is a link to Pogs on Wikipedia.
Nicole and I played all the time. We never played for keeps that I recall, but for fun. And we traded pogs. Basically you put your pogs face down in a stack and use the slammer to hit the stack and you get to keep all of the ones that land face up. We played whoever had the most won and then we divided the stack back up.
I wonder if my pogs and slammers are still back at Ma's house. I'm going to have to ask and take a look. If I can find them, that would make a fun scrapbook page since I could even use some of the pogs on a page.

Joey used to have some pogs, i think they were big in school than. I believe once they were so popular the teachers started taking them fom kids in class.
I had a Mortal Kombat Slammer, but was never into pogs.
this is going on the list to look for in the attic....not sure if they are still here or not.

I don't know if they are still there or not Ma. I don't remember if I sold them at a garage sale or something either. I don't think I did, but who knows!!! Oh and I think I had a green container to put them in.
Ma do you remember where I used to buy them?
I remember my younger brother being big into pogs. We both collected them, but we never got into the whole slamming thing.
Ben Franklin mainly...I think you may have put them on the rummage sale.
