The end of a year. I can't believe that I completed doing this for an entire year. Wow. I'm amazed.

I'm going to continue doing this but in a different way. I'm going to simply take a photo a day and not a self-portrait. This has really inspired me.

Day 365 {Hats}

I'm so not a hat person. But every now and then I steal Jason's hat and wear it. This the current hat that he wears all the time.

Sometimes I'm technology impaired. I love having a cell phone but I don't text much. It takes me forever to send a short message. I would much rather type on a computer. Funny thing is I'm not overly fond of talking on the phone!

Day 363 {Christmas!}

Yup on 12/28/08 I'm calling it Christmas. We did Christmas with Jason's family today. We all wore comfies/pj's and had a blast. So much fun.

I was off the week of Christmas and I spent a lot of time on the couch reading wrapped up in a blanket from Ma and my sisters. I finished almost 4 books.

Jason and I were trying to break the wish bone from the turkey. Jason and I were both making funny faces in the previous picture and our natural smiles continued on in this one!

Btw, we never did get the wish bone to break. Hopefully we won't have bad luck!



These were our Christmas Presents to each other this year! A very nice, simplified Christmas. It was awesome.



I think this picture is my favorite Christmas one.

Jason built his Star Wars Lego ship that he got for Christmas and then put it in front of one of my nativity sets.

This picture just cracks me up.

I had Ma color my hair when we were up north. LOVE the color of it! I think it was called light auburn.

Ma colored my hair when we were up north. Then I let my 16 year old sister, Susan cut it. I'm shocked I did, but it turned out great!!! And way cheaper than a salon! :)

Playing around in the car and making funny faces. I think I look like a blowfish in this picture. Cracks me up.



Twas a long drive up north. That is about as good as the roads got on the way up. We left at 9:30 a.m. and got there at 4:12 p.m. Typically the trip takes 2 1/2 hours. We did make a couple stops to break up the trip.





This was about as fast as went on the way up. Most of the time is was slower than this!!!

Yup, I brought my laptop to the Scrapbook tonight to crop!! I got done what I needed to and then pulled out my laptop to try to catch up on my Flickr pics and blogs. I am thrilled that RSC has wireless access!!!

Each year for my sisters and my parents I give them reindeer names since my sisters used to love to peek at their presents. This way they don't know who who is who until we open them. This year Jules is trying to get me to tell her what her reindeer name is already.

Heading out to get the Christmas tree today! It's cold enough to make me put on a hat, which is BRRRRRRR cold.

These are the balls for the Fucking Heavenly cookies! Those taste like little bits of brownies. So delish! We did our annual cookie exchange today. So much fun.

When I sit on the couch I often sit like this with one foot under a blanket and my other toes peeking out. That way I don't get too hot, or that's my theory anyway!

Baking Pictures!

Pulling together recipes for the annual cookie exchange that I do with my in-laws. Deciding what to make and making sure I have enough ingredients for everything!



Before running out to get butter, this is what it looked like outside! Jason did warm the car up before hand. I'm so lucky to have him!



My fuel for the day. A Starbucks Vanilla non-fat Latte. MMMMMMMMMM. Plus when I bought it I got a coupon for another free one! Score!



The line up of ingredients! Then I realized I forgot a couple, but didn't retake the picture. Ooops.



Ok, call me odd, but I have a favorite measuring cup. It's this one. It's plastic, the red is wearing off, but it's my favorite. On the opposite side and bottom it looks like there is a huge crack in it, but liquid still stays in. I would love another one of these.



Wondering what this is? It's all of the dry ingredients needed to make Gingerbread cookies! Yum!



I couldn't bake without my cherry red Kitchen Aid mixer. I don't know what I did before I had one of these. Thank you Jason for getting it for me!!!
