Design Team

Yesterday, I went to Scraps of Time to show Jennifer my box. I showed it to her and then she told me that I made the design team! So exciting!

She wants me to do 2 projects per month, altered projects that is, not LO's. AWESOME. That is PERFECT for me. The greatest part is that I get a 20% discount on all purchases! That goes up to 30% if I teach tyhere, which I am unsure of. We will see about that.

On another note, Jason is having a great week as well! He found out today that he won an xbox 360 from the Pepsi/Dew promotion. Awesome!

Misc. things to do
-work on website (people at work want to see it!!!) MUST FINISH!
-take picture for blog....need to ask Jason to do that for me :)
-make banner for blog
-download trial of stitching software to see if I like it
-customize blog

I'm off to play Halo2! Yes, I'm a chick who loves to play Halo 2. Not many people know that about me....

Thankful..

This link: http://www.scalzi.com/whatever/003704.html made me realize how lucky I truly am. The link brought tears to my eyes. I know so many people who have been like that. I am blessed that I don't have to worry about putting food on teh table or getting the expense of new shoes. I can spend money on me and not feel guilty.

Granted, there are times when money is tight, but it always tends to work out. Usually we tend to float a check a couple days, and we are thankful it doesn't bouce. When we do that I feel guilty for what we recently bought....scrapbook supplies....legos....etc....

I feel guilty for spending money when people close to me aren strapped to cash. I don't know what to do to help them.....

Off to ponder....

Random thoughts

Random thoughts..
-I need to go eat lunch soon, my tummy is rumbling...
-I REALLY need to get more books to read. I'm getting tired of my romance novels. I read all of the newer ones and am left with the older ones.
-I'm doing good drinking water today. Need to drink more though.
-I wonder if we will have enough money this check for me to join WW.
-Property taxs are due next check. MUST remember to pay them.
-I need to re-clean my SB area again.
-I have to show my BG box to Jennifer at SOT.
-I still don't know about the deisgn team. I keep telling myself that I didn't get it. But I'm not sure. I'm really hoping I did. It would be fun.

PUBLISHED!

So, some of you know that it is my dream to be published in a Scrapbooking magazine. Well, I'm accomplished half of that dream.

I submitted my Altered Ikea Box to the Basic Grey online gallery since I used all BG papers.

Well, today I found a lovely little e-mail from them saying that they accepted my box! I was so excited!

Now not everyone would agree that it is being published, but to me it is! They do not accept all LO's or items submitted. They get to pick and choose. I even posted on 2peas in the pub, my first toot, ROFL. I don't expect anyone to response, but oh well.
