Day 335 {Guitar the Leggy!} + Kya
Day 335
Jason has this thing, where he likes to Guitar the Leggy!! My leg, to be specific. It tickles like crazy but cracks me up!
Nothing like going to the in-laws and having Kya (who is currently almost 3) run up and jump in your arms and not want to be put down. I just love it.

Day 333 {Black Friday} + RSC Crop!
Day 333
We got up at 4:30 a.m. to head to one store...Toys R Us of course! They had a Lego ship that Jason wanted at a good price. Toys R Us opened at 5 a.m. We were there around 4:45 a.m. and were out of there by 5:10 a.m. Then home and back to bed or a while.
Nancy from RSC (the local scrapbook store) gave Jessi and I these ducks one day when we were cropping. They are now our mascots! The one on the left is Stewart and the one on the right is Howard.
This is what we do at RSC {the scrapbook store} when we are cold!

Christmas Survey!
Since I'm sitting here waiting for questions in ChaCha, I thought I would do this Christmas Survey I got in my email. Feel free to copy and either email it or send it out via email! If you blog about it, please let me know! I'd love to read your answers. :)
- Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Wrapping Paper! Typically complete with ribbon and bows. I love the look of that! - Real or artificial tree?
Real tree! Nothing compares to smell of a Christmas Tree. One of my all time favorite smells. - When do you put up the tree?
This all depends. Last year we didn't get it up until about a week before Christmas. This year we are going to go and buy our tree on December 2! I can't wait! - When do you take the tree down?
Once again this all depends. Typically the first part of January. - Do you like eggnog?
Nope. Though give me Grandma's Apple Cider! Mmmm.... - Favorite gift received as a child?
This is a tough one.....I would have to say my Cabbage Patch Doll and High Chair that I got. - Hardest person to buy for?
I love buying gifts. I think that the older people get though the harder they are to buy for. - Do you have a Nativity scene?
Yes, I do! I try to get a new one each year. I just love them. :) - Mail or email Christmas cards?
Mail them of course! And of course they have to be hand-made. Though my list is extensive. I've done 90 cards so far this year. Need about another 5 made. - Worst Christmas gift you have ever received?
I really can't think of one. - Favorite Christmas movie?
Nothing comes to mind. I do like the Grinch and Elf, but I wouldn't call them favorites. - When do you start shopping for Christmas?
December 26. I like to keep an eye out for gifts all year long. :) - Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
I must admit that I have. Though it went to someone who would enjoy the gift more than I could. - Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?
Mom's cheese ball! Really any appetizery things. LOVE that stuff. - Lights on the tree?
Yup, of course! I tend to alternate between all white and the colored lights. - Favorite Christmas Song?
Winter Wonderland by Bing Crosby.
Thistle Hair the Christmas Bear by Alabama (I can't find this song ANYWHERE! It's from my childhood. I remember the bright red Alabama album with the raised Gold Writing on it...)
All She wants for Christmas is a real good tan by Kenny Chesney - Travel at Christmas or stay home?
I don't mind traveling, but prefer to stay home. But then nothing compares to spending it with family. :) Can I choose both? :D - Can you name all of Santa's Reindeer?
Of course I can! Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen. - Angel on the tree stop or star?
I have an angel. It's the very first one I got at Ben Franklin when I had my tree. I don't plan on changing it anytime soon. Reminds me of the ones that Ma has. - Open presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
Jason and I each open 1 or two on Christmas Eve and the rest on Christmas Day. - Most annoying thing about this time of the year?
All the Grinch's out there. I absolutely love this time of year. :) - Favorite ornament theme or color?
Eclectic. I love all of the ornaments Jason and I have. We have some from our Childhood that we made or were give, as well as ones that we bought. A mish-mash of all sorts of things. It's perfect. - Favorite thing for Christmas Dinner?
The works. Basically think Thanksgiving and add some ham in there along with Christmas desserts. - What do you want for Christmas this year?
Anything handmade. :) - Favorite Christmas gift as an adult?
The chest that Grandpa Nelson made for me, and his sister rose-mauled my name and date of birth on it. It's my favorite.

Poor Quote
With all that is going on in the economy and many people I know that are struggling, I find this quote uplifting.

Day 320 {Waiting}
Day 320
Waiting outside for Jessi to stop by and pick me up before going to the craft show. I only had time to snap 5 pictures before she came!
I love that I over-processed this one. The highlights in my hair, the color of my lips. Love it. I realize that it's considered overdone by most, but I like it and that's all that matters. :)

Day 319 {Ollie and Olivia} + Bonus Picture!
Day 319
As some of you may know I'm a bit of a Quickutz Freak. LOVE my Quickutz. These little owls are part of the November release. We had fun at the crop and I made two of them. Love those little owls!
I bought the Quickutz small owl die and made Ollie the Owl. He took me over an hour to make and by the time I was done, I wasn't sure if I would ever make another one.
Jessi asked me shortly after I was done making him if she could have him. I gave them to her. By the end of the night Ollie had a woman named Olivia, also an owl.

Day 318 {Reading}
Day 318
When I was a kid I never used to leave the house without a book. Even if it was a 10 minute trip I had to bring a book with. Dad and Ma joked that I would never know how to get places since my nose was always in a book.
Now when Jason goes to the Post Office to ship things, I bring my book and wait in the car. I can usually get a few pages done in the time he ships things.

Gas Prices
I love it when I'm wrong. I had previously said that we would never see gas prices below $2 a gallon. On November 11, 2008d they dipped below $2 a gallon in our town. Now when I'm writing this, on November 17, 2008 gas prices are at $1.87 a gallon. In cases like this, I love it when I'm wrong.
Day 316 {Finger}
Day 316
When Jason and I first met, he gave me a hard time because when I drink or eat something like a sandwich, my little finger sticks out. I never realized I did that until he pointed it out. I have cut down on it some, but still do it occasionally not realizing it.
Faces of Jason
A few of Jason's many faces. We were at a little locally owned restaurant in town when these were taken.

Day 312
We had our first snowfall today!!! It was beautiful. The worst part of snow is scraping off the car. I love the snow, but hate the cold and shoveling the snow, lol.
I love the first snow, so beautiful.

Day 311 {Kid at heart}
Day 311
I am such a kid at heart at times. I have been meaning to pick up some Play-Doh for a while now and just haven't. Jason and I went to Sam's Club tonight and found a 66 pack for only $3.81!!! I had to get it! I'm in Play-Doh heaven now.

Day 309 {Mail}
Day 309
I had big plans today to use my "I Voted" sticker for my portrait a day. But of course, by the time I got to the polls they were out. I didn't even have to wait in line. I was impressed. Instead this is what you get. A picture of mail.
I love getting mail. I don't know why, maybe the surprise. But I just love getting it.
